三星到四星之间吧，除了对好莱坞创意枯竭和恐怖饭圈文化的吐槽之外，还是遵循着前几部的套路来，虽然很想逃脱套路但是最后还是拍成了套路，看来genre的元素不是那么容易摆脱的。最后凶手大概能猜到，但是动机没有那么的令人信服。不过周末来看个乐子还是完全够了。

粉丝向的深情制作，以及对于「重续」概念提出都是一种近于「电影论文」式的阐述，剧情上的回归首部，以及对于恐怖「元电影」的讨论在当下恐怖类型片中也显得诚意满满，当然成长于20世纪末恐怖片潮流中的影迷们已经错过了真正的黄金时代。

当反套路和自我嘲讽成为常规套路，老IP的新作也不可避免地疲软失效，有些亮点譬如借当代恐怖片比衬、元电影概念及韦斯克雷文的致敬，玩梗玩到极致也算有勇气，娱乐性能达到尚可的水平，死OG的设置就比较无语，人物智商浮动极大影响观感，及格线往上。
