非常私人。真实印证了影人在成名过后会把自己的回忆过水捞一下给大家吃的流程，里面一定会加自己最喜欢的料，比如这部铺的满的不行的音乐，但是却给观众0感动。（非常努力的代入了，你真不能说它拍的不好，但是真的很流水账）
不了解爱尔兰国情的，被开篇惊到。。。生活在莫名仇视的社区里真令人恐慌。。。小男孩巴迪非常可爱，他和相濡以沫的爷爷奶奶的对话总是稚趣十足，前半部社区混乱对人们生活的影响刻画生动，后半部妈妈纠结于移民，似无必要，毕竟移民去英国，无论生活品质还是安全都会有保证。。。爸爸帅妈妈美
蛮温柔的，布拉纳只要收敛自恋感，电影就其实还有点文化人气质。但也许是没有那种生活经验，代入感比较差，也时时怀疑是否那些音乐、电影只是符号的堆砌，或者是布拉纳由于太眷恋而执意加入。变彩色的那里，明白想法但灵气不足，显得有点矫饰
的确有点像《罗马》，都是黑白，都是回忆性质，但整体质量还是有差距

结尾有些匠气与不够自然，摄影和配乐都很好。即使是不了解的历史事件，里面对于童年的怀念，对于父母的依赖，以及祖父祖母的智慧慈爱与牺牲，是共通的。人生总要面对别离的。

一个在老家的家。两兄弟，有一个大很多的哥哥，妈妈养大的，爸爸在伦敦上班，每2周回一次。故事只在这条街上，每天放学可以去爷爷奶奶家，每天上学会路过倾心的第二名女同学家，这条街被天主教徒骚扰。
A bottom-up approach to paint the conflict. In broad strokes, the story shows the things that matter to people: their relationship with neighbors, moral integrity, the class/financial struggle, romance untainted by arbitrary divisions. Peeling away structural intellectualizations, we're left with tender feelings for those who made difficult choices.
同时能明显感受到喜欢与不喜欢这电影的地方，故事很走心，这个原创故事很棒，是一本优秀的剧本使然。然而又能感到有目的性地过分炫技，太满当变得溢价。或是剧情转折快，有些东西立体了，有些又有点赶脚。但对于奥斯卡来说技巧多未必是坏事…（7.5分）
提名剧本奖个人无法认同，台词镜头都很好，但是剧情有点工业化了。离乡的挣扎，一个没出过国的东北人共情了。8.2分

Kenneth Branagh的童年，写给故乡Belfast的一封情书。影像和叙事会让我想到《罗马》，都是怀念的故事啊！
比《罗马》差了三个《爸妈不在家》，摄影太棒棒了。
彩色会让故事更生动，本来就是个活泼的故事和背景，就没必要去用黑白。何况你的配乐还那么流行。
同样是家长里短的流水账，这片就显得高大上，父母育儿的教育闪光点最值得欣赏，这才是优秀的电影，再加上范老的插曲，登峰造极
电影最后直接道破天机，故乡的童年回忆难道不就是关于离开的人留着的人和迷失的人吗？确实和罗马有异曲同工之妙，但基调显然没有那么克制，最为动人的几个镜头是一家人总是坐在一起看电影。所以我觉得无关技巧，导演只是想尽情地勾勒那段Your whole family haves you的回忆罢了。另外，片头的几场调度很迷人。
原来是五十度灰男和outlander女主演的。去年读过Say nothing之后才对这段历史有概念，所以看到电影有一种“亲切感”。儿童视角和黑白电影的表现方式有一点老套路了。
电影试图通过一个小男孩的视角来展现那个年代的社会环境，但是却被限制在这一视角无法展现深入，对缺乏相关背景信息的观众十分不友好，总是处在一种似懂非懂的迷惑状态，同时整部电影缺少一条明确的主线，更像是童年记忆片段的拼凑，但是至少这些片段是饱含情感的，很喜欢几段人物的特写镜头，很有视觉冲击力；另外一个很大的问题在于过多的bgm，很大程度上破坏了黑白影像的质感，甚至还有一种审美疲劳的廉价感，但好在主角们的表演还算不错，太喜欢Judy Dench在后半段的表现了，Caitriona女主戏也很棒
