绝佳的美术和氛围营造使本片充满了电影感，但故事和人物刻画都不足，演员表演上乘。
像是戏剧，但又有不同于戏剧（即电影）的表现手法。场景很宏大，但近景又看不太出。
视觉设计上的独树一格，戏剧情节上的昏昏欲睡。
4:3的影像格式是最糟糕的比例，所有构图原则都适用不了，所有角度都是物理眼界，偏要表达艺术，看见的不是超越，是拙劣复古，不是精神病患噩梦的艺术，是艺术的神经病噩梦。第4分44秒，国王转身，身后的侍从距离太近，国王不得不停顿一下，等他转，这是站位错误，应当重拍。演员还剑入鞘，找不到准头，动作迟缓，应当重拍。然而，并没有。所以别扯什么精致制作了，该配眼镜了。人总有某个时候过高估计自己的能力，这片不仅导演是，主演也是，多年自以为演技出众，真挑战舞台剧形式的表演，那台词，dreadful，声音都漂浮在上面。
太失望了，本来我期待的是一部黑色谋杀犯罪片，结果是一部美术片。丹泽尔华盛顿的麦克白令人昏昏欲睡，科恩嫂的麦克白夫人后期还有点意思。
虽然不是烂片，但是这风格，那么有我最喜欢的丹泽尔，也看不下去了
本来很期待，以为会有更多突破，但是除了黑白极简的拍摄其他没有令人惊喜的点，还是《麦克白》。
场景和摄影很对，但又没全对，感觉像是穿梭于1921年和2021年之间。缺了几分韵律，几分留白，架不起张力
导演以原创剧本出名，看之前还以为只是借用《麦克白》名字，剧情跟原版没啥关系呢，没想到基本是照搬。大家都知道麦克多蒙德和华盛顿是当今最优秀的演员之二，有必要几年内再改编莎翁的剧来提供炫演技的舞台吗？（俩位到西区舞台现场表演的话倒是有兴趣目睹下）剩下主要是极简，表现主义舞台设计和音乐有些出彩，百分钟左右的片长还算比较妥当。
Those witches' scenes are the best
三星吧。我还记得第一次看《蜘蛛巢城》时的震惊。
另外，多加一星给摄影。
总的来说，该片舞台剧不像舞台剧，电影不像电影。

丹泽尔同志操着一口地道美式英语把麦克白从英武上将到践祚登基到野心覆灭的复杂的悲剧性的心理活动诠释的如同白开水，只在最后十五分钟的末路对决中进入了状态，凭着那个拾起掉落皇冠的动作，原谅这个男主角提名。弗太后的麦克白夫人也只能说是无功无过，出场不过五分钟的女巫令人印象深刻。
科恩兄弟第一次分开指导的作品。哥哥的美学造诣没得说，但很难讲这是不是以牺牲了部分叙事达到的效果。原来的剧本足够经典，但这部电影依然很好的阐释了戏剧和电影并非矛盾冲突对立的关系。life but a walking shadow.
复古的画幅，极简而考究的布景，舞台剧的形式，整体情节虽简约，但对于单个场景的设计却很有创意与深意，达到了叙事与拍摄风格的统一与呼应。
照搬罢了，即使配上了顶级的演员和绝妙的摄影，精巧的置景，这依然是照搬。
艺术气息和舞台剧和形式过重 大段大段晦涩飘忽的对白 就很沉闷了。
这部已经用了这样的主创，还是不得要领。
