The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 没那么好诶 但很cool 看的时候俄罗斯正在接收世界各地的恶意 蛮讽刺的
我最喜欢的音乐剧，没有之一。这是现代歌舞剧和现代社会的完美代表和缩影，也是人类命运共同体的赞歌。
“humanity”是我看这部音乐剧能想到的一个词。2000年的9.11，我正值小学，放学回家的傍晚，家里电视开着，爸妈在电视机前目瞪口呆，电视上滚动播出美国世贸大厦被飞机撞击的新闻画面，虽然才小学，但那个画面此生难忘。911不仅改变了美国，二十年后看，911还改变了整个世界。以经历911一天的人作为对象的整部音乐剧非常好看。

群像戏演得很好，很多主题，很正向，也很多泪点。人类的悲歌总会伴随着赞歌。
不错！但感觉有点太像纪录片，卡司换角太快，一开始没能反应过来。
911事件20周年官摄。芝麻切口的恢宏巨作，固定场景的万千变化，单时间线的犬牙交错。用相当简单的故事写实了打破国别民族宗教文化性别生物隔阂的大爱，编剧跪服。一想到这个故事在世界上真实发生过，不禁对人类多了一分信心。

西安疫情lockdown，楼下大喇叭里“请大家保持距离 防止交叉感染” 萦绕不停。面前荧幕里的人们高歌“I’m an islander. I’m an islander.”眼睛里是不容忽视的、充满生命力的光。会好的，我坚信。
可能这是我注定无法欣赏的一部音乐剧了，群像太多太杂随意转换，一直处在一种情绪很饱满激动的状态中。第二次坚持看到1/2又失败了… 唉，可能是我不懂欣赏吧。
