The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 迪士尼的兒童劇都免不了家庭核心價值觀的宣揚，I only care about who I care about，但有夢想可追的話，年齡根本不是障礙，實現自我，你也會為我而榮。對音樂劇愛好者而言有很多加分點，劇情略為浮泛，happy ending也還可以接受，畢竟他還是賓州中產WASP+Male主流話語繼承者⋯⋯想一起去Broadway看劇！！！

环境灾难片，灾难场景做得还可以，剧情没有什么太多令人惊喜的地方，希望故事可以更精彩一些。
一切都在预料中，我觉得还可以更好一些，不过看的还挺开心
本片证明女生结束感情慢一拍，进入感情又快一拍，两头辛苦
而他们自己的储备，就只有北海油田那点儿东西，现在还快抽干了，就如电影里表现的，油气开采导致地层真空，爆发地质灾害，当然这是想象，但不是没可能。

剧情平铺直叙，表演朴实无华，尤其是没有为了增加冲突，编造一些无脑人士出来，从上到下智商都在线，比很多灾难片硬要弄些反派要好多了。剧中出现战斗机的是f35？太帅了
中规中矩的灾难片，为了营救一个人差点搭上两个人值得吗？点个火也要F35，真土豪。
故事和导演拍摄有不少细节，挪威这几年灾难片越拍越好，没有好莱坞的大场面，但能把人物情感做到位，镜头语言实打实，也不花哨，调色/画面都有讲究

看了简介就能知道结局的电影，但神奇的是还挺好看的。
女主是忍者宝宝里的妈妈诶！整体故事还可以。女性力量，以及没有做好事就要自己承担责任啊！
前面铺垫太长，甚是务必要，后面舍身救人那个很感人，灾难场面的描写并不多，剧情略显平淡，小男孩在控制厅那一段太揪心了
男闺蜜赴汤蹈火陪女主拯救男友！剧情不是很抓人。ps：挪威空军整体换装F35。
