The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 这部片作为歌舞片最大的问题，就是在于歌舞不行....当然剧情也很俗套，配角真的也很工具人，加菲的演出也很夸张...可能要展现热情（但是他看女友那段我觉得情绪很好 很帅 保持）
剧作就很弱了，堆砌大量人物关系，叙事逻辑和节奏都相当的混乱。
观感比较套路行活儿，倒数时刻的寓意似乎中途从三十而立危机转向了生命易逝、友谊可贵等方向，AIDS的打断又让人串戏到加菲的《天使在美国》……

跟爱乐之城差很远，可能是因为传记片的关系吧，加菲猫这个造型，显得太不抗老了。歌不难听，但是看起来无聊冗长，除了泳池里写出歌的那段还有点意思。

又焦虑又治愈，先入为主地认为凡妮莎还是适合歌舞片。

美国梦主旋律电影。以歌舞类型来呈现，叙事支零破碎，大幅消解了主人公原型本身浓厚的悲剧色彩。加菲与原型相比只有形似，表演出了年轻人的激情，却没什么艺术家气质。但此类悲剧艺术家的传记片，总是会博得颁奖季的青睐，啧啧啧。
TV版的剪辑凑出这部剧场版，一次战斗重伤后的康复训练也忒难了……

终于看到一部94届奥斯卡不垮的了。凡妮莎·哈金斯唱的一首歌还是不错的。
