The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不禁张大嘴巴，啧啧称奇。有些画面极易引起不适。部分影评谈此片基于旧约圣经，如此云云。
特效挺酷的，视觉挺爽的，无对白的设置也是为了更加突出试听，整场电影像是一场噩梦，酷炫可怕又恶心，但是可惜的地方是全片没有特别惊艳的地方。KGN：70/100

触目惊心的想象力实在令人叹服，跨度30年的绝大成本所形成的独特性也确实不能以一般的文本去要求本片了，某种程度上讲真是一部究极的电影，或许可以说它的存在就是来终结定格动画的？
