The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很难得的富有地方特色的方言电影。套路、桥段都在意料之中，但还是比较贴近生活的，不少地方让我会心一笑。做作或生硬都有，但不膈应。几个主要的素人演员选得很好，特别是贤姨、父亲和奶奶，他们的表演，有一些神来之笔，可遇不可求的。
《带你去见我妈》是一部很不错的关于潮汕的作品，呈现了另一种外来媳妇本地郎的人文故事，不仅仅适用于潮汕地区，在情感上乃至全国都会有共同的地方可以引发观众共鸣。

“之前我们因为你们苦苦相逼而结婚，
妈妈的角色从头到尾都非常真实自然。影片有很多有趣的梗（撞车后吵架发现对方是老乡，于是和解）和巧妙的处理（儿子情感受挫后发型变化展示人物内心的大波动），感觉导演很善于捕捉生活的细节。
作爲輕喜劇看很輕鬆愜意
讲普通人的故事，有地方特色，但是剧情、节奏、表演都差了点火候。最后太拖沓了。女猪脚不好看，眼窝看起来十分怪。

不敢相信这是印度电影唉！印度唉！反观……男女主在自己爱的人面前真的眼睛都闪着光唉，画风都温柔了很多。特别男主，反差好大。
一个字，羡慕，感动，真好啊，我所想到的元素都在其中了，而且演员也是真的好看有演技，特别让人感同身受。世界不管怎么样，或多或少都在进步，真羡慕啊，仍在原地的我们。

纪录片看得我觉得印度也落后差劲了，电影又让我觉得印度的未来也太光明了吧。
