The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 《地平线：西之绝境》发售没几天，风头就彻底被《艾尔登法环》盖过了。《神秘海域》在国内周一上映，档期本就尴尬，几天后势必也将被《新蝙蝠侠》冲走……这就是索尼今年的宿命吗？
成功爆米花。荷兰弟演技其实有点没太接得住男二，演什么都太荷兰弟了，虽然动作身手毫无瑕疵，但细致的演技还有待深入，不然感觉戏路单一，就是帅气的嘴炮肌肉鲜肉。和男二对手戏，也只是互相贫嘴，类似钢铁侠蜘蛛侠关系，没有层次和递进。很成龙风格，刀被劈掉，兄弟情高于男女情，等等。亮点在于直升机帆船高空仿海盗海战，比开头飞机那段燃太多。
一个月没进影院，选激光imax增加点仪式感，可惜片子还是一般，就两场大型动作戏，前段挺无聊的。
荷兰弟演德雷克根本不合适。。。而且剧情也槽点满满
整体是规矩合格的寻宝范式，基本上是一种共识。视效亮点有二：空投跳伞（但在《地心引力》之后也不可能更显新奇），直升机拖出麦哲伦号——动作戏空间挑起海空和中间的巨船。主题是信任，拎得很干净，剧情大节点和人物关系动态变化全都围绕着它。

游戏改编烂片+1。请完荷兰弟是没钱了么，其他演员一水儿的路人脸，道具金子也都好假。在城市地下探险，机关没锈蚀，也没被城市改建损毁，就离谱。不过空中海盗这一段还挺有创意的，值得M一下。
有荷兰弟演的就不能给的太低了。。。毕竟这孩子太讨喜了嘛 虽然真的跟热评一样无尿点也无爽点 唯一的点可能在于情侣座的点？（并不哈哈）男二太眼熟了看的时候一直在想他是谁啊然后一直没想起来 女主毫无存在感 不知道为啥 居然也有那么点期待第二部。。。

没玩过游戏，觉得电影挺好看的，比不上印第安纳琼斯，至少比《迷失之城》好看。
我永远爱夺宝系列，角色特点很鲜明，大叔配小伙斗嘴也很搞笑，没有感情戏份这点真的很棒，彩蛋爱好者只等来了一个彩蛋，期待续集
挺浪费我的爆米花的，这种类型商业片里的文戏一向都是随便应付的，但我没想到这部电影居然连打戏也这么敷衍，《古墓丽影》都比这个强，别怕第二部了浪费钱，还坏了荷兰弟口碑（虽然口碑早就无了）

多麼低齡低智低配的遊戲型冒險動作「大片」啊，但能上天入海、絕地逢生、邪不壓正、天道酬勤，Adios adios, Barcelona, tienes mi corazón，還有第一次深海潛獻給了🇵🇭，以及珍貴的古地圖，都是加分亮點～PS：我只是來幫荷蘭弟貢獻票房的⋯⋯ @大渝影
探险叙事都是开挂无脑驱动，阻碍因素是外部抵抗力量，缺少卡关和解谜的细节，本子很粗糙过时。奇观场面能看，飞机和古船空中大战很有动作娱乐想象力，也扣紧了主题，强化了人物塑造。两位女性角色都有很强的masculinity意味，还都有反派负面色彩，荷兰弟和马克CP最终确立的方式是一人干掉她们中的一个，这符合好莱坞的政治正确吗
