The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 东木这次做了一回梦想家，但是“I can not cure old”。
《廊桥遗梦》中的东木老爷子确确实实有其独特的男人魅力，但本片中还不断有女人倒贴就多少有些他想展现自己不服老的意味了。
熟悉的东木风格，苍茫的西部和老爷子英雄迟暮却依然保有的那份坚毅和骄傲的个性太搭，一段被欺骗的旅程却成就了一对忘年交，并且寻找到自己久已不曾再体会的爱恋，整个调子平缓却那么感性，非常动人。希望东木大大健健康康，永葆艺术青春啊！
故事很简单，也不太吸引人，东木老爷明显老了，90岁了，太厉害了
90多了这股子精气神真的值得赞赏，但是吧…就…真的吹不动，尤其再横向对比一下老爷车和骡子…甚至注意力经常被颤颤巍巍的老爷子带走，真的担心他站不稳再摔一跤……
东木暮年，让人唏嘘。希望老爷子能好好享受生活。

每一句台词不管是old还是macho都像是在说自己
没有沉浸感，总是出戏，觉得这很假，都是演的，可能剧本太差了，小男孩演技也总让人出戏…珠玉在前，东木老了
稳稳当当的好 熟悉的淡淡的忧伤 不知道会不会是伊斯特伍德最后一部作品了 希望他一直拍下去……
伊斯特伍德在这部片子里确实老了。不是老而弥坚，也不是英雄迟暮，而是一个固执老头逐渐凋零，走不动路的那种老。

剧情和小男孩演技只能两星，老爷子加一星，音乐加一星。老爷子依旧艳福不浅啊哈哈
