The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 充满宗教压抑的氛围，两人侧颜都很美，洗手间和浴室那两场戏让人心跳加速。不太满意的两个地方，一是总担心她们亲密时被发现，二是让人心梗的结局。

情欲戏性张力拉满，很抓人，但导演就是个三流导演。内容和形式都有很大程度的问题，故事过于简单，而叙事却不够流畅，特别是前面几处转折非常生硬，很不自然。影片有些对话拍得含含糊糊，不清不楚，不懂导演处处留白的艺术。最烦的是导演没有能力用画面和语言建立起一个立体的女二形象，导致很多地方都觉得女二做事逻辑莫名其妙，没头没尾。看完就是又暴躁又遗憾。
喂！两个人能不能先各自回去把各自的老公现女友了结一下？太渣了好不好？

我还蛮喜欢这种平淡又直白的叙述的。但故事实在太过于单薄，冲突不够，我到结局都没病吧Marica为什么要放弃，就……爱得不够？另外配乐好奇怪，每次都让我出戏。

剧本很简单，对白很生活化，但眼镜女主太漂亮了，口水～
