The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 我们总要记录一些真实，而非一味地歌功颂德。
同背景下 影片以小见大 两个人的命运 写着这场疫情的走向
没有家国大义，没有感动中国式的煽情，只有孤立无援下的绝望和直接单纯的善良，演员们演技都太好了。有时候都忘了疫情最开始的无助，不知不觉已经戴着口罩过了两个夏天了。

没看懂结局塑造的话：因为她是个很好的人，但她从没有得到过很好的对待，所以她不希望一个好人，被那么对待。属于一种自我救赎。
以小见大，科默的表演也很棒，只是看片过程中太压抑了，尤其是肯尼去世那一段，主角情绪奔溃，我也快要崩溃。围绕新冠题材未来应当会有更多有价值的作品，但我确信不会是国语片。

看到的第一部涉及新冠疫情的影片，在灾难面前人性与价值的呈现。这不是那些习惯了胜利叙事的人所习惯的角度，但却最能触动人心。
